The Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management ERM program at Columbia University prepares graduates to inform better risk-reward decisions by providing a complete, robust, and integrated picture of both upside and downside volatility across an entire enterprise. The program focuses on all aspects of ERM, including frameworks, risk governance, risk identification, risk quantification, risk-reward decision-making and risk messaging. Students are expected to follow this course plan. In the first three semesters, students cannot take more than two major courses in a single semester. The options have additional requirements as noted. This is the capstone course in the business administration program, and satisfies the capstone requirement of the Discovery Program. Depending of the choice of option and the specific requirements thereof, students may be able to take PAUL or non-PAUL electives in their junior or senior year.
