I've gone through a few posts on how to reset the MDi to factory defaults, but I can't seem to figure out why it's not working. I would try this on the second controller if you have one in your mdi. It's very odd that it doesn't want to take any command to get into the menu's. The easiest way I've found is through the cli. Are you able to access and ping the ip of the mdi management port? If you are able to interact with the management port what you're going to do is launch an admin command prompt and redirect to the client folder in the modular disk configuration utility directory. So it should come out to something like this if it was defaulted as far as the install location went. Once within this folder you're going to run the command as the CLI application is located within this folder. With Machinename being the IP of the controllers management port, Password is only required if you have one on the array. You are going to need at least 2 discs within the storage array as well to issue any type of commands or it will give errors on communicating with the drives.
