WHAT POSITIVE IMPACT CAN US BLACK MANAGEMENT HISTORY HAVE IN BUSINESS SCHOOLS?

Published
Hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation, Beyond the pandemic: equality, diversity and inclusion explores why we need to embed the values and practice of equality, diversity and inclusion within the different infrastructures of society.

Our guests are Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation Research Fellows, Dr Simone Phipps (Middle Georgia State University) and Dr Leon Prieto (Clayton State University).

Dr Phipps and Dr Prieto discuss how the narrowness of the current management prevent the questioning of the leading assumptions that link management theory to the maintenance of the capitalistic system.

Simone Phipps, PhD is an Associate Professor of Management in the School of Business at Middle Georgia State University and an Associate Research Fellow with the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation.

Leon Prieto, PhD is the Director of the Center for Social Innovation & Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Associate Professor of Management at Clayton State University and an Associate Research Fellow with the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation.
