Webinar on The Economics of Soil Health Management Systems on Five Cotton Farms

On Thursday, March 31st from 11 am-12 pm ET, Dr. Dianna Bagnall, Research Soil Scientist at the Soil Health Institute (SHI) presented the Economics of Soil Health Management Systems on Five Cotton Farms. In this study, SHI interviewed five cotton farmers who have successfully implemented soil health systems and assessed the economic and productivity changes they experienced by improving soil health. Ms. Devon Leahy, VP Sustainability, Ralph Lauren, provided opening remarks; Mr. David Lamm, Soil Health Educator with the Soil Health Institute, provided background on the farms; and Dr. Archie Flanders, Agricultural Economist with the Soil Health Institute, joined Dr. Bagnall for the Question and Answer period. All registered attendees received a fact sheet summarizing the results.
