Visiting a Central California Beekeeper and Queen Breeder - Coria Farms

Published
In mid-October of 2021 Beekeeper and Commercial Queen Breeder, Jose Uribe, heads out to central California to visit fellow beekeeper and queen breeder Jose Coria of Coria Farms. It is extremely windy this day so we apologize for the quality of the sound! Uribe and Coria chat about different nuc styles and the challenges of using each of them. Coria also shares how he got into beekeeping and his feelings surrounding being a beekeeper. Uribe then picks up ten nucs and transports them back up north to Butte County to place them into the bee yard.

If you placed a queen order with us this year… thank you! We are passionate about what we do and are working to make a big difference in the industry.

If you are new to our channel, welcome! We are a small family owned and operated micro-commercial apiary located in Northern California. We've been commercial beekeeping for the past 13 years, but branched off and opened Uribe Honey Bees in January of 2019, and then launched our YouTube channel in April of 2020. We specialize in queen breeding, pollination services, hive management and brokering.

Thank you for watching and supporting us! We love you guys!
