Using insulated concrete forms to form a crawl space with a water management mitigation strategy.

Insulated concrete forms have an R value of about 22, continuous. We use them to keep the concrete warm so no water vapor condenses on the cold concrete surface. An ADS perforated pipe handles any exterior bulk water that could go into the crawl space. It's very important to place the ADS piping at the bottom of the footer, not the top. You want to pretend the house is an island when it comes to water, as water will seek it's lowest level. Thanks!
