Toole will provide ‘very different’ leadership style to ‘more flamboyant' Barilaro

NSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham says the new NSW Nationals leader Paul Toole will provide a “very different” leadership style to the “more flamboyant” John Barilaro.

“Paul Toole will be quite nondescript in the role, more a traditional backroom National party leader,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

Mr Latham said the main challenge for Mr Toole will be to reconnect with the NSW Nationals’ constituency which has been alienated by "left wing policies" such as 100 per cent renewables and net zero emissions.
