The Tizard Centre ABA Journal Club Dec 2021: Jonathan Amey

A talk on 'Using behaviour analysis to develop motor skills' by Jonathan Amey, founding director of Agile Instruction and Management Solutions, for the Tizard Centre's Behaviour Analysis Journal Club.

The Behaviour Analysis Journal Club

The Tizard Centre's online discussion group allows you to explore the latest research in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and gain continuing education units. Using video conferencing, each event discusses a recent research article and is led by a professional with specialist expertise in the topic. You also explore how research findings can be put into practice.

The events are suitable for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BACBs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs). Each event provides a type 2 continuing education unit (CEU) from the BACB (Behavior Analysis Certification Board).

The Tizard Centre

The Tizard Centre is a leading UK academic centre working in autism, learning disability and community care.

It is at the forefront of research into autism, intellectual disability and community care. Celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2019, our work is highly influential and has helped to improve lives across the UK and internationally.

We aim to share our expertise via study programmes and research projects. The Centre has strong links with health and social care organisations and many students come to Tizard thanks to a personal recommendation.

Our pioneering approach dates back to our first Director, Jim Mansell who in 2012 was awarded a CBE. In 2013, the Centre received a Queen’s Anniversary Prize in recognition of its outstanding work in the field.
