The Largest Earthquake Of All Time JUST SHOCKED The Whole World! In the wee hours of the morning of February 6th, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck the southeast corner of Turkey as well as sections of neighboring Syria. At least 40.000 people have been confirmed dead, and thousands more have been injured as a result of the disaster. The earthquake was followed by another incident with a magnitude of 7.5 approximately 9 hours later, in addition to around 200 aftershocks. Buildings have been leveled by the earthquake and its aftershocks, and rescue workers have been forced to dig through concrete debris in order to uncover any survivors. The number of fatalities is expected to rise in the coming days. Nature conducted interviews with four scientists to get their perspectives on the seismic activity in the area and what the upcoming few days will bring.
