The Future of Crop Insurance at Stake

The INOVASEGURO project aims to increase the resilience of smallholder farmers in Brazil by developing innovative risk management tools. GIZ is carrying out this work in collaboration with the Brazilian Ministries of Economy and Agriculture, and with the team at the Federal University of Parana Support Foundation (FUPEF).

This online event will bring to the table the key findings that the FUPEF team has found in developing a guide to implementing priority rural insurance policies and strategies for the country's smallholder farmers. There will be a space to learn about the experience of other countries, such as the United States.
