Influence is the lifeblood of business and life. Without influence we can't achieve much. But to be persuasive, we need to be flexible. Our preferred style of influence is often not compatible with those we wish to influence. This is when we need to change tack.

A good influencer is prepared to use all four stragies to influence. If plan A doesn't work, they try plan B ... or C ... or D.
