System Call and Its Types

System Call:
1) System call is communication made by an OS with the Processes.
2) System calls provide an interface between the process and the OS.
3) System call allow user-level processes to request some services from OS which process itself is not allowed to do.

Open and Close System Call:
open() system call is basically for opening a file.
close() system call is used to close the file that is recently opened.

Types of System Call: as per their Usage
1) Process Control (Mainly used for process)
2) File Management (Used for manupulation of files)
3) Device Management (Used for Managing Decices)
4) Information Maintenace (Used to do Info Maintenace)
5) Communications (for communications amoung calls)
6) Memory Management related System Call (In Unix)
