Stephen Demers: Chief Executive Officer Memorial Hospital Pembroke

Stephen Demers has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Hospital Pembroke.

Stephen comes to us with over 25 years of healthcare leadership
experience. He received his Bachelor of Science in Health Management and
Policy from the University of New Hampshire and his Master of Business
Administration from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts.

Stephen spent the first half of his career in progressive leadership positions in
the areas of surgical services, ambulatory care and clinical operations in the
north east United States.

When he and his family relocated to South Florida, he took on the role of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and then Vice President, Operations and Chief of
Ambulatory Networks, for the University of Miami Health System.

Stephen brings to us a wealth of knowledge and expertise in executive leadership and oversight of hospital operations.

He has established himself as a results driven executive with a demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and service excellence and we are fortunate to have him join the Memorial Family.
