South Korea's seasonal fine dust management program begins today in a bid to reduce air pollution during the winter,... when dust levels are higher than other seasons.
The four month-long program will focus on reducing industrial emissions and traffic congestion in the greater Seoul area.
This includes a ban on grade 5 emission vehicles without low-emission functionalities on roads in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do Province and Incheon.
This is the third straight year that the program has been implemented.
