Soft Skills Program (SSP) at IIT (BHU),Varanasi in association with AICTE- Effective Decision Making

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Training & Placement Cell at IIT (BHU), Varanasi in association with AICTE has initiated a Soft Skills Program (SSP) from 25th March to 22nd April, 2022 as shown below. This free-of-cost Soft Skills Program will benefit students to be industry-ready as well as empower faculties to achieve excellence in Teaching-Learning process. All six sessions of SSP are shown below (8:30 pm – 10:30 pm IST).

The Session 2 on "Effective Decision Making" will be held on Friday, 1st April, 2022 from 8:30 pm -10:30 pm IST.

Session 2 Abstract:




In this interactive session Dr. Vora will discuss Effective Decision Making. People in their day-to-day and professional lives are involved in making decisions. The quality of those decisions is often in question - even by those who make them. Thus, one needs to learn the process of making excellent decisions. With this in view, the participants will be provided with both background knowledge and practical models to prioritize and make decisions that will allow them or their organization to fulfill their vision, mission, objectives, and goals.

This program will be conducted on a pro-bono basis by Dr. Manu K. Vora (IIT (BHU) distinguished alumnus, chemical engineering batch of 1968), Chairman and President of Business Excellence Inc., USA, a global quality management consulting firm. He has over 47 years of leadership experience. For the last 29 years, he has taught Operations Management courses at various business schools globally. He has contributed to over 680 educational institutes worldwide and taught well over 12,000 people. He is a sought-after speaker on business excellence and quality management topics with over 1,220 presentations in 36 Countries across 5 Continents. In the last nine years, he has delivered a Soft Skills Program benefiting one Million people. Dr. Vora has received 60 awards/honors for his outstanding professional service and 40 awards/honors for his life-long community service.
