Galvanized steel structure offers many advantages such as durability, less maintenance and many more over normal steel structures. The usage of galvanized steel in structural sector has increased manifold in last few decades. Before application of galvanized steel structures all the related standards need to be understood thoroughly and they are significantly different than the conventional standards. Beside this, stringent quality assurance and key factors affecting the quality of such steel product have been the prime focus in order to ensure safety of the structural components.

Dr. Arnab Chattopadhyay, a PhD in Material Science and Engineering presently running EduMet India. He is with over 22 years’ experience in Steel Technology, Manufacturing and Lubrication Science. Before running his own venture he served in senior management roles of Tata Steel, Tata BlueScope Steel, Balmer Lawrie and few more MNCs. in R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, New Product Development area. Dr Chattopadhyay is also a Certified Lead Auditor and implemented ISO 9001 system widely. He has more than 40 international publications and 8 patents in his credits. He is key reviewer for many international journals and books. He is a speaker in many international conferences across the globe. He has delivered lectures in many countries and considered as a renowned expert of Galvanizing and Steel Lubrication across the globe.
