Rostin Behnam, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, addressed the recent collapse of FTX Trading before a Senate hearing Thursday, saying Congress needs to "move quickly on a thoughtful, regulatory approach to establish guardrails" in the digital currency marketplace. FTX, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges and co-founded by Sam Bankman-Fried, filed for bankruptcy in November. The hearing was held by the Senate Agriculture Committee.
