Published
This webinar will feature insights and recommendations from researchers, transdisciplinary stakeholders, and decision-makers with deep expertise in applying research to policy in the Caribbean and Latin America. Together, with contributions from numerous stakeholders, we identified research priorities for three key regional fisheries which included flyingfish, spiny lobster, and shrimp and groundfish). The work also examined research that would support healthy habitats and pollution mitigation and reduction. The research priorities examined not only the science, but also research needed for sustainable economic communities, as well as effective monitoring, governance, and communications.
