Benchmark equity indices ended Thursday's session with gains. The BSE Sensex added 128.33 points, or 0.17 per cent, to settle at 74,611, while the NSE Nifty50 advanced 43.35 points, or 0.19 per cent, to 22,648.20. The broader indices settled in the green with the gains led by the Nifty Next 50. The Bank The Nifty index shed 165.70 points, or 0.34 per cent, to 49,231.05. Among the other sectoral indices, Auto, Metal, FMCG, Financial Services and OMCs ended with gains, while Banking and Media stocks settled lower on Thursday.
