Published
Principles of research data management for FAIRer microscopy is presented by Microscopy Australia’s Research Data Manager Dr David Poger.

This webinar will explore the five guiding principles in research data management that have been developed for Microscopy Australia:
1. Have a research data management plan
2. Know who the owner, steward and/or custodian of the research data are
3. Use metadata and persistent identifiers to identify and document research data
4. Make sure that research data meet a minimum standard level of quality to guarantee data integrity
5. Store and provide access to research data in a safe and secure way.

Along with how these principals can make microscopy data more FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). Research data management is becoming a regular theme of Microscopy Australia’s webinars. This webinar is the first in this series.
