Measuring and Managing staff is difficult with hybrid working, particularly when a role’s outputs are hard to measure, eg, non-sales roles.

You need to change focus from ‘presenteeism’ to performance.
It’s not about clocking up hours in a common workspace.

Encourage participation from everybody.

It’s important to manage your staffs’ physical environment when the are working from home. It’s also important to manage risk and liability.

Staff need to be able to work in an efficient and safe way.

The office will need more video enabled meeting rooms for remote participants.

Also need huddle spaces for sharing ideas.

It’s good to incorporate exercise and down time into the workday.

Need to encourage staff, esp new staff, to take initiative in terms of setting up and building key relationships
