This video allows our audience explore the concept, meaning and idea developed by American psychologist Abraham Maslow. This idea is named Maslow’s Need Hierarchy Theory of Motivation. This idea is based on the pursuit of different levels of needs which are:
Physiological needs (food, clothing, water)
Safety needs (emotional security, financial security, law and order)
Love and belonging needs (sense of belonging, relationship)
Esteem needs (public esteem- recognition, power, etc. and personal esteem- self-confidence, achievements, etc.)
Self-actualization
We have taken the topic based on class 12 Business Studies syllabus where it is kept in chapter 7 named Other Management Function. Maslow Theory of Motivation is also studied at other levels of Management faculties like BBS, BBA, BBM, MBS and MBA
