Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) ensures that children across Ohio have access to high quality early learning experiences. The SUTQ rating system creates a continuous quality improvement path for providers. SUTQ star-rated programs have demonstrated a commitment to meeting stronger standards for staff, environments, and curricula, which have been validated to improve children's kindergarten readiness. Our Technical Assistance Coaches help child care programs obtain, maintain, and/or increase their star ratings through free on-site coaching, continuing education and professional development training, and by hosting events to encourage community support.
