In this clip, B.G. Knocc Out spoke to L.V. about him and Dresta being signed to Outburst Records, a subsidiary of Def Jam, and releasing “D.P.G. Killa” on the heels of their beef with Tha Dogg Pound. B.G. Knocc Out then revealed that he went to Outburst and told them to get him out of his contract after seeing the song on the B-Side of their album. From there, L.V. spoke about doing “Gangsta’s Paradise” with Coolio, and L.V. explained how he came up with the hook, which was inspired by Stevie Wonder’s “Pastime Paradise.” L.V. then revealed that Coolio wasn’t the first person he took the song to, and he added that Coolio “gave me the run-around.” He also revealed that a lot of movies wanted the song for their soundtrack, but it ultimately made it on the “Dangerous Minds” soundtrack.
