A few of the leadership skills we touch on in this episode are:
Trust – So much of crisis management is building strong relationships amongst teams and with vendors and partners before a crisis happens. You can’t build a strong relationship without trust at the foundation.
Influence – This is our ability to move a person to make a decision that supports the goals we want to achieve. There are three ways we gain influence: competence, character, and connection.
Inclusive decision making – Diverse perspectives NEED to be included in your decision making process as a leader. This gives you a competitive advantage, because more diverse perspectives strengthen your ability to take quick, decisive action with confidence.
