Justice Bart Katureebe takes over as Uganda Management Institute chancellor

Experts are being asked to invest heavily in information technology if they are to pick up from the damages created by the Covid-19 crisis, that saw many of them close. The call came as the Uganda Management Institute welcomed and installed their new chancellor Bart Katureebe. In his first speech, Katureebe said the survival of the institutions will be premised on their ability to provide solutions to future societal problems. He urged them to also consider artificial intelligence is highly considered. Representing the president, Vice President Jessica Alupo called for institutions to incorporate courses with value for their sustenance.
