JOGL Africa: Virtual Skills Camp 2021

The goal of the Virtual Skills Camp was to support JOGL Africa Community members and other innovators to learn and share critical technical skills in an open environment. The focus of this session was on Project Management, Intellectual Property, and Fundraising, key skills required in successfully creating innovations.

The event was held on 24 November via Zoom at 4 PM GMT/7 PM EAT. To start proceedings, a key note address on skills building was delivered by Ato Ulzen-Appiah, Consultant and Director of GhanaThink Foundation. Participants then entered into one of three breakout rooms to discuss the selected skills in depth with identified facilitators.
