New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Arden “presided over a lot of disaster management” during her tenure, according to Stuff’s Political Editor Luke Malpass.
“The fact is that she has been someone who has presided over a lot of disaster management, the March 15 shootings and Christchurch, the White Island eruption, and then COVID-19,” he told Sky News Australia.
“This year’s going to be different, it’s going to be economically tough, inflation is running at over 7 per cent.
“It’s looking like it’s going to be a very challenging year and Labor’s currently behind on most public polls.”
