ITANAGAR SEES THE FIRST HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (HMIS)

The First Hospital Management System (HMIS) of the state, has been set up in Itanagar at UPHC, Itafort, Itanagar; HMIS is a part of the digital India programme. It was inaugurated today by Minister of Health and Family Welfare Alo Libang ,organized by the Arunachal Pradesh health society. The HMIS will allow patients as well as the doctors to access their medical history and also will help in decision making(like availability of the doctor). The programme is said to be implemented even in extreme remote areas of the state where internet is not available. Such areas will access HMIS through the satellite.
