When we are going for an interview, one of the significant questions by an interviewer is 'Tell me about yourself.' or 'Introduce Yourself.'
Our response to this question can help us build credibility during the interview.

In this video, let's try and understand what all elements can be considered while responding to the specified question.

Element 1 : Greetings: To commence, we need to greet the interview panel with eye contact.

Element 2: Acknowledgement: we may acknowledge & thank the panel for allowing us to attempt the interview.

Element 3: Spell out your name: While introducing ourselves, we can spell out our name, hence it generates the recall value.

Element 4: Qualification & Experience
As a fresher, after telling the name, it is recommended to share the course & institute's name. Remember to share the information with much pride. The way somebody speaks about the institute matters.
As an experienced candidate, always share the recent or current organization’s details - the position you hold / designation/profile/Role/domain & department.

Element 5: Sharing the skillset & strengths:

Be a storyteller while covering this element.
As a fresher, share any incident or situation that exhibits your skills like people management, coordination skills, team player, and negotiation skills. Also, if you managed any critical situation and solved a problem in the past, mention that too.
As an experienced candidate, the recommendation is to prepare yourself with at least 3-4 such situations that demonstrate your skill set. It can be technical skills, analytical skills, or soft skills. Categorize & highlight the skillset based on the role you have applied for. If it is a client management role or a people management role, focus on the skill sets accordingly.

These elements set the narrative for your interviewer in a constructive & concise way. Your preparation also reflects your research & keenness to work in their organization.
