"Dr. Veenu Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Retail and Marketing at BIRLA Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida. Her primary area of researches includes Understanding the retail environment along with consumer behavior. She has participated and presented papers in various conferences at the National and International level. She has authored case studies and research papers which got published in reputed journals like Emerald, Inderscience, and The Case Centre (formerly ECCH, European Case Clearing House). She is also on the editorial board of the South Asian Journal of Business and Management Cases and a regular reviewer of reputed international journals. She has received the Erasmus+ CESTour grant in 2021 and one of the team members working on the international project of Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education on Sustainability Tourism, a European Union-funded project.

She is a recipient of the BIMTECH-STOUGH Young Scholar Award (2014). Earned Best Case Award from The Case Centre UK (2017). GD Sardana Young Scholar Award (2018) and SAGE Best Case Award (2019). She has more than 15 years of industry and academic experience. Apart from her contribution to society through teaching and research, she writes regularly on recent trends in the retail domain. She has also been mentoring and developing students in the area of developing research papers and reports."
