Published
This Technique Tuesday video demonstrates four methods of yarn management for intarsia projects, and provides examples of projects that used different techniques (and sometimes more than one technique). In addition, the video explains how to calculate the amount of yarn needed for an intarsia motif.

The sweater I'm wearing is from a WWI-era pattern, and is part of my long-term project to knit a sweater from each decade from the 1890s to 1990s. You can see my Ravelry project page for the sweater, which includes information on the yarn and pattern here: https://ravel.me/Rox/ass
