The United States Studies Centre’s CEO Simon Jackman says President Joe Biden’s $1tn infrastructure bill is the “single biggest moment” of his presidency.
Mr Jackman said for the bill to pass “requires all democrats”, which is in turn “exposing the fault lines in that broad democratic coalition”.
“This is a test of Biden and Pelosi’s political management skills.
“If this goes down, what will the Biden presidency have been about domestically?”
