Importance of the Black Management Forum conference: Esethu Mancotywa

Deputy Minister of Finance David Masondo says the government played a critical role in ensuring that previously disadvantaged people receive an education. He says this has led to this group of people being included in the country's economy. Masondo was giving a keynote address at the Black Management Forum conference earlier on Thursday. In addressing the Black Economic Empowerment criticism, Masondo admits that there's an unintended consequence with this model, in that it hasn't built a developmental black business class.
