IHS General Director David Dodman participation in the UN Environment Assembly 2024

At the end of February 2024, IHS, represented by General Director David Dodman, participated in the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-6). The event's theme was “Multi-level governance and urban finance in support of effective, inclusive and sustainable actions to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution”.
David Dodman highlighted the specific role of city and local governments in this space: in urban design and management, by engaging in governance networks, and by creating new partnerships with non-state actors and civil society.
