The use of automated bots is on the rise. According to Forrester Research, the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) market will reach $2.9 billion by the end of 2021. Government agencies and enterprises are investing in bots to streamline normal manual processes and increasingly make low-risk decisions. RPA provides a way to bridge new and old technologies to accelerate processes across government agencies exceptionally quickly. However, they also come with a security risk that can become a security nightmare if not adequately governed.

Some organizations are already well underway to formally secure and govern their bots. Those who don't realize that they have a complex matrix of service accounts that have been established to manage system and service settings, and now that they are automating many of those processes, there is a substantial rise in risk. The best way to manage and audit that risk is through these bots' identity governance, but the work needs to start early to be manageable. In this session, we'll discuss some of the ways that vulnerabilities can creep into your environment when deploying RPA technologies and how to best use SailPoint to build a governance process around them.

Watch the recording to learn how to:
✔️Clearly identify bots from users
✔️Govern bots and their specific attributes
✔️Manage bots from creation to decommission
✔️Extend access-based policy definitions to bots
✔️Access request and certification for bot identities
✔️Report on bot access in compliance with regulations
