Have you considered grazing with goats? In this video, Nathan Marker explains how to start a goat operation!

Nathan suggests to start with a smaller, manageable number in your operation (around 20-50).

When looking to start your herd, look for animals of good health. Tune into the video to hear tips from Nathan of what to look for in healthy livestock!

Nathan notes that starting with doelings (females less than one year old) to ease the acclimation process to a new management style (and possibly climate).
