Hong Kong’s pre-war ‘tong lau’ houses face urban renewal predicament

Wedged between Hong Kong's towering skyscrapers are low-rise, pre-war tenement houses known locally as "tong laus". Many of these once colourful buildings that housed vibrant communities are now in a state of disrepair. Often the first to go under redevelopment plans, conservation advocates are hoping to save some of them. CNA’s Jojo Chan and Deborah Wong report.
