Health-Related Quality of Life Challenges When Caring for Survivors of a Pediatric Brain Tumor

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF) focuses on providing information that is critical to supporting a family’s brain tumor journey through our monthly webinar series. In June 2022, Dr. Janet Deatrick joined the PBTF to discuss the next steps in survivorship. Her presentation focused on common challenges families face when caring for their survivors, ways caregivers can more effectively manage health-related challenges and provided tools and resources for families in survivorship. The Q&A portion of the webinar included conversation around encouraging independence in the midst of caregiving and recognizing the need for conversations with siblings in the family. This webinar focuses on the survivorship part of a family’s journey, in a practical and meaningful way.
