Gran Melia Lombok Resort - Update August 2022

Huge progress has been achieved at the Gran Melia Lombok resort construction site. The recent visit from C-suite representatives of Melia International assessed the progress on site, with the goal of further assisting and coordinating with the Invest Islands project management team to deliver excellence.

The Kayma Tent has reached 100% structural completion, with the membrane of the Ferrari tent being expertly positioned, while the MEP and architecture teams focus on the brick wall of the bathroom and the natural stone of the pool.

The iconic Inspiral Villa has nearly reached 90% completion of the structure, with further work being carried out on the structure of the pool deck, the columns, and the ring beam.

The recently released, initially limited units for sale, are receiving worldwide recognition, also thanks to the endorsements of several international luxury publications.

Works on the main road entrance are progressing well with the laying of asphalt already in progress. Extensive earthworks are in progress, with preparations for the back-of-house buildings and the car parking area that will allow for 60 parking bays.

The formation and shaping of a 4500m3 lake are nearing completion, as well as most of the southern part of the perimeter retaining walls.

Over the next 7 days, we will complete another 2000 square meters of asphalt work on the main road.
