Founded in 1989 as an integral part of InterContinental Sydney with the aim of becoming the leading global provider of tourism and hotel management education.

We are known for being the only hotel school in Australia formed through a partnership between a public university, Southern Cross and a global hotel group, Mulpha Australia.

Students can study across three CBD campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane locations as well as Hayman Island and online. The tropical Hayman Island campus in the Great Barrier Reef is the only hotel school in the world where students can study, work and live on the 5-star InterContinental Hayman Island Resort.
