GÉANT Infoshare - Management and monitoring of Time & Frequency services | 21 June 2022

Time and frequency network services are becoming increasingly common in research networks. The ability to provide these services with the same level of quality as IP services is an operational issue for NRENs.

This GÉANT Infoshare proposes to go through the different types of time and frequency services (Optical carrier transfer, Radio frequency modulation, White Rabbit) and broach the aspects related to their management and monitoring. The experiences of NRENs that put these services in production are presented with experts’ feedback on these technologies.
