Gas Tanker Explosion I Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi briefs the media on the deadly explosion

A number of people have been killed and others critically injured after a fuel tanker exploded in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg. Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has now confirmed that nine people have died in the gas tanker explosion in Boksburg.
Lesufi has briefed the media after visiting the site of the incident, east of Johannesburg.
The truck caught fire after getting stuck under a bridge and then exploded near the OR Tambo Memorial Hospital.
