The climate crisis requires educators, from primary through postsecondary, across all disciplines, to consider building a breadth of green skills in learners to prepare them to meet the uncertainties of a climate impacted world. In this talk, climate change education expert Christina Kwauk introduces the new Green Learning Agenda, a framework of educational pathways to climate resilience and empowerment. She will discuss how to move from theory to practice by introducing five design elements (with examples) to help educators integrate these skills and learning goals into their K-12 classrooms.
