The Friday.Waters, Book Reading session on, Why Resource Governance Fails? Examples from Urban Lakes in India, focus is on discussing the socio-economic theories that define the community behaviour towards common pool and natural resources. The book is a compilation of some of the well known theories from the Tragedy of the Commons, Logic of Collective Action, Prisonner's Dilemma to the Command and Control approach to the Governance of Sustainability. The book is coauthored by Dr. Jack Anthonie van Ast along with Dr. Mansee Bal Bhargava and published by Indrastra Global. The session is conducted solo by Dr. Mansee Bal Bhargava.
