What is meant by core skills? What changes will the pandemic bring in the workplace and what has already changed? How to fill the gap between skill development and the unemployment rate?

ILO’s “Global Framework on Core Skills for Life and Work in the 21st Century” has answered all these questions. This Framework provides a shared vision of its human-centered approach to shaping a secure future of work, with full, productive and freely chosen employment and decent work for all. The Framework proposes a range of core skills to strengthen the capacities of all people to pursue lifelong learning and to address the needs of vulnerable groups, who would not otherwise be able to benefit from the opportunities offered by a changing world of work.

Hear from ILO Bangladesh will join to share insights on the future of work. He will also discuss a global ILO framework regarding skills that has been modified according to the Bangladeshi context and then implemented in a local project. This event is under the Youth Employment 2021 campaign.
