Former FBI Agent Talks Crowd Management at Concerts, Large Scale Events

Published
Eight families are mourning the loss of their loved ones who died during a deadly crowd surge at the sold out Astroworld Festival starring headliner and Houston native Travis Scott. Some concertgoers say the event was so tightly packed that when audience members were pushed toward the stage, they were crushed and could not breathe. Dozens were injured and taken to the hospital. The ages of the victims who died range from 14 to 27. Former FBI crisis response agent Carl Herron joins "Start Your Day" with Mike Hill to discuss crowd management at large-scale events.
