There are many reasons for and against incorporating your small music business (including solo artists, bands, and small music biz). Our panel of lawyers and accountants will examine reasons to (or not to) incorporate, when the best time is, how to file articles of incorporation, navigating shareholder agreements, personal and corporate liability, how to pay yourself, and what happens at tax time.

This panel is presented in partnership with the Canadian Federation of Musicians, who will explore some of the opportunities available for incorporated musicians in touring, recording, pension, and more.
