Trond Grande is the Deputy CEO and Chief of Staff of Norges Bank Investment Management, effectively the 2nd-in-command of the organization managing the world's largest sovereign wealth fund. He joined Norges Bank Investment Management in November 2007 as Global Head of Risk Management and has later also filled the role of Deputy Chief Operating Officer. He was named Chief Risk Officer in October 2009 and Deputy CEO in February 2011. Grande holds a Master's Degree in International Management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and ESADE in Barcelona. He also has an MBA in finance from the Norwegian School of Economics.
