FEWscapes Lunch and Learn: Comparing models used in land and water management

Published
In this recording of a FEWscapes Lunch and Learn from November 2021, you'll learn how the major ecosystem models used in the FEWscapes project, AgroIBIS and THMB, compare with other models commonly used in land and water management in the Midwest. Modelers Eric Booth and Kelsie Ferin walk through side-by-side comparisons with EPIC, SWAT, MODFLOW, SPARROW, and SnapPlus.

FEWscapes is a research and engagement project based at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to advance knowledge and support decision-making for food, energy, water, and ecosystem security in a region that is a major provider of these basic needs nationally and globally: the Upper Mississippi River Basin. Funding for the project is provided by the National Science Foundation. Learn more at https://fewscapes.wisc.edu/.
